A word from Sunny - Alas
Sitting here at 4am thinking about investing (yeah, you can imagine what my day is like) and an interesting topic might fit into the whole FlippingRich theme for my beloved audience. If you’ve already read Money, Kiplinger, and Investing for Dummies of the sort that are designed to help explain the terms and options in simplest fashion, and you still find investing a much confused topic to know where to best put your hard earned dollars. You’re not alone. There are many statistics supporting that fact that most Americans will not be able to enjoy a comfortable retirement because they didn’t or don’t have a clue.  Don’t take the stats lightly. The next time you visit your neighborhood McDonalds, you’re most likely to find a 70-year old sweeping floor or taking your french fries orders in order to fill their ever-increasingly expensive prescriptions. It’s also scary to see that AARP site has an article on educating seniors how to make an impression in an interview

I sure hope none of my FlippingRich readers will have to fall into this category. For those of you thinking to count on Social Security being there for you because you’re paying your dues now, you better think again – real hard.  It’s likely that there won’t be enough in this bucket for the X- and Y- generations to draw retirement income from. I’m not being pessimistic or trying to paint a gloomy picture of the future.  You can certainly control your own future by doing something starting now and build on it. So where should you start? Â

Where do I start? Investing such is a vast topic. I’ll break this down to several different series in order to cover some of the very basics.  In the meantime, if there’s an area of interest you would like to see, feel free to drop a comment and I’ll be sure to cover it.
