I stumbled upon a site today that really got me thinking…
Lets face it, the condo conversion game in the Twin Cities is nearly dead, for a number of reason. A few of those reasons are:
1. For buyers of projects, or buildings to convert, the prices are so escalated (per unit) that it doesnt make [...]

First we read that Southdale current owner Mills Corp is warning of possible bankruptcy. Apparently their accounting errors might cost as much as $352million. How does that happen?
Worse news. Brookfield Asset Management Inc. has agreed to buy struggling real-estate firm The Mills Corp., which owns Southdale Mall in Edina, for $7.55 billion. Why is that [...]

Its always been a bit of a surprise how few of my clients factor in the school or school location/assignments into their home choices. Dont get me wrong, most of the clients are either pre or post the parenting stage, and many clients have made it their number one concern. However it still seems way [...]

Ive browsed this list before, its quite interesting, and worth the minute it takes to look up your last name.
The unclaimed property in Minnesota is rather vast. Anyone want to go into business finding these folks?

I found this article, which is more of a report by someone else, to be one of the most insightfull on real estate sales commissions for the consumer.
The gist of it is, in slower markets, its in the sellers best interest, believe it or not, to pay a full commission rate OR HIGHER, and not [...]
