what happened to drive 105Â Believe it or not this is the highest search on google that has brought visits to flippingrich.com this month.
I have read several websites that have voiced their opinion of the new “Love 105″ and the loss of our original Drive 105.Â
Anyone at “Love 105″ have any input for us. We would love to know if your new format really works for you. There are many of us that are horrified by the radio format change.
By the way, I have yet to find a consistently good radio station in Minneapolis since this has happened. I have seriously been considering getting new stereos for all my vehicles. xfm here we come???
I also sent an email to the new station but never got a response. Has anyone heard from these guys?

Ironic too because I had just noticed Drive 105 was significantly better than it used to be in recent months - suddenly I feel like Im listening to AM Gold - classics I used to hear at my dads office (pre-muzak) when I was like 7 years old.
Old topic but I’ wholeheartedly agree that their last 6 months was great. They were finally taking on an identity of their own but my source says that the order to flip to Love came from the L.A. headquarters of ABC. To me it seemed to be done entirely locally to grab listeners irked that KOOL 108 has dropped most of the older tunes. Ratings come out this week and should reflect the change, time will tell.
