Hookup of the week - cell phones (Cingular)

I dont usually publish hookups that I dont know that well.  However I had a great experience the other night (Ladin, leave that one alone) while browsing for a new cell phone.

I had plans to buy the new iPhone but my RAZR was slowing dieing on me.

We didnt really go to Southdale (in Edina) with the intention of buying a new cell phone, it just happened. And the Cingular kiosk was closer than the Cingular store.

To make a long story short, Chris Thompson at the Cingular kiosk gave great service, showed me their current discount (which was $100 cheaper than direct from Cingular, go figure), and has even followed up with me since my purchase of the Samsung Blackjack.

  2. I too own the Blackjack and wanted to offer some great sites for customization - if you are interested. Just out of curiosity - did you get your blackjack with the extended battery. if not its well worth looking into - I also have a link to the free extended battery rebate.
