Hookup of the week - travel links

Something a little different.  As many of you know Sunny and I love to travel.  Our kids Griffin and Gavin are probably more traveled than the average American.  Our philosophy, in part, is exposing our kids to the world and letting them develop their own (hopefully) broader view of things. In addition, we are crazy budget travelers, always looking for deals.  Here are a couple of the sites we use with a short description of why.

We tend to cruise often, its been fun with kids and headache free, for the most part. If you are thinking of cruising with kids, send us an email, we have some tips, and have been on most cruiselines.  For the best deals we tend to watch http://www.vacationstogo.com/emailtick.com

My friend Mike gave me this link a few years ago. Its pretty cool for ballpark prices on flights: http://dps1.travelocity.com/dreamMap.ctl?dep_arp_name=MSP

For places to stay there are sometimes some nice deals at http://www.vrbo.com/ which is an index of vacation rentals by owner, as well as http://www.craigslist.org/ with links in their vacation rental index for each published city.

This is a good flight search cost comparison http://www.farecompare.com/

Here are 3 other sites that we have looked at but not totally tested. Let us know if you find anything good on any, and of course if you have better travel deal links, we are all ears!
