Meaning of Flipping Rich
I thought it was time to clarify a few things. We are not “flipping rich”, yet anyway. We have done well in out own right with investing, in both real estate, as well as the market. Sunny and I have on more than one occasion, put everything we have on the line, hoping to be rewarded for the risk. Its worked for the most part.
The domain name was something Sunny came up with about 2 years ago. She wanted to do a blog about investing, and the “flipping of homes”. Well, she never really did it, but the domain was registered, and we found it catchy.
There are many definitions of flipping and rich.
Flipping, as in flipping of property, flipping real estate. Or flipping, as in flipping the bird. Even flipping burgers. Or the good ole f word.
Rich, well, there is the obvious, as in wealthy. Or having lots of resources. Elaborate, an abundance, or even amusing or absurd.
Our “flippingrich” by own own definition is something along the lines rich in resources and/or content, and flipping as in, well you fill in the blank.
We strive to be wealthy, but share our resources, with you our fine friends. Thats the the flippingrich.com story.
At the height of the real estate boom, Derrik and I (mostly Derrik) were getting calls from people who have heard so-and-so made a bunch flipping properties. They want to make a bundle too but “where do I start with no money, no skills, no clue” — it’s the typical calls we’ve heard. So I thought, well, let’s share our passion and experience with our community. And here we are!
I think your URL is clever and could mean different things to different people. What’s in a name anyway? It is what you make it.
