Minneapolis development review - Flour Sack Flats
I took the opportunity to stroll down (neither hop’d, skip’d, or jump’d) to the Flour Sack Flats model near St. Anthony Main in Minneapolis. This will be my first Twin Cities real estate development review, and full admission, I did it because the listing agent Ben Ganje is really a stand up guy. To clarify, I really do not know Ben so well, however he has recently sold one of my condo listings at the W Minneapolis project and I found his communication and his timely nature outstanding.
What I found interesting about the model, as well as many other new construction models is their abstract nature. Walking into a large open room with an example of a kitchen and a bathroom, taken fully out of context from a real floorplan really amazes me.
In my experience buyers of properties want something tangible.
The finishings of the Flour Sack Flats are extremely nice, and I really dig the location, near St. Anthony Main, Riverplace, Surdyks, and super easy to get to the University of Minnesota and Downtown Minneapolis.
What is really cool is the updated finishings of the Flour Sack Flats 2 (Flour Sack Flats two, or Flour Sack Flats II, Im not sure how they are going to name it). The super mod shower controller is tres cool. Dig the tile, cabinet, lighting choices. Its cool. And prices are reasonable.
Right now the first phase is about 80% sold. Get in while you can, or hold out for phase 2. If you want to check out the model, give me a call, Ill set it up.

Thanks for the post!!
