I completely agree with you. I do where one myself but i use it when i'm in the car or when I need to talk and type at the same time. I take mine off when I'm at dinner, outside with the kids or when i'm not using it. I've noticed if I keep it in to long it hurts my ear. So I make it a point to only where it as needed.
