Ngon, hard to say, but good to eat, Vietnamese Bistro
Sunny and I tend to go to Asian restaurants a few times a month. One of the issues I have had is just the general standards of, if nothing else, the presentation of the establishment.
A few common places we go in Minneapolis, along Eat Street, is Pho Tau Bay, and Pho 79. There is another joint in St. Paul but I cannot for the life of me think of the name. Its a funny place though it must have once been a Dunkin Donuts or something. If you know the name, help me out. These are all Vietnamese by the way.
In Eagen we tend to go to Hoban, a Korean restaurant that actually feels like we are going out for a meal when we go there.
If you frequent any of these places you might dig where I am coming from.
A few weeks ago we found like a great place in St. Paul on University Avenue. Its called Ngon, another Vietnamese restaurant. Whats different, and I think they are right on, is they call themselves a Vietnamese Bistro. They have great food, and class, and its clean. Tres magnifique!
Try the smoked salmon spring rolls.
Ngon, if you read this, your website is pretty, but search engines will ingore your all graphic content.

The steak wrap (appetizer) was good too.
Im at Jasmine Deli (Nicollet Ave between 25th and 26th) at least once, often twice per week. Prices reasonable, food is excellent - family owned and run and they know the regulars. They just opened a more upscale bar/restaurant aroud the corner called Jasmine 26, havent tried it yet
Ive been to Ngon, recently. I was visiting a friend in St. Paul recently. Its good. Im from Charlotte, NC. If you’re ever in the neighborhood try Pho Real. Yea it sounds cheesy but its a real nice Vietnamese restaurant, very trendy setting.
