Property of the week, near Lake Calhoun & Isles

I havent been in this building in a long time, like since I was 18 or so.  The fresh reminder of how cool it is was thrilling, honestly.  I have seen quite a few units but I believe this one is the best value.

2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 balconies! (one off the master bedroom), updated kitchen and appliances, 1 heated car garage space AND 1 off street space (2 total assigned parking), a tiny view of Lake Calhoun, and walking distance to Barnes and Noble et al.

Whats makes this condo most unique is the construction. The building was once a grain elevator.  The units have rounded walls, feels super mod and I love it.

However 2 drawbacks. First, if you dont like super cool, perhaps eccentric design this probably is not for you.  Second the association fees are a little steep (they usually are on taller buildings).

The building is about as solid as they come being made of concrete. Feels SUPER quiet.

And, I totally love it.  If you want to check it out let me know. Address is 3141 Dean Court.  Price is $249,850.  By the way, there are some smaller units for a bit less, and larger units for a TON more. Its a good thing to have neighbors in the same building for sale at $900,000!

  1. [...] I have been a HUGE fan of this tres cool building smack dab between Lake Calhouna and Lake of the Isles.  We wrote about another listing that recently sold at our other site. Read it here. [...]

  2. I just bought a unit in the building. I love the feel of these units. The grounds are unbelievable too. It almost feels like an exclusive community. The Green Belt trails are right next door.
